Are self-driving cars really better than humans? They don't drink and drive, don't text and drive, and have perfect 360-degree vision through sensors. They can be trained on millions of scenarios to react in split seconds and predict what's coming. Humans can't do all of that. But hey, we're still doing a pretty good job on the road, right? In fact, we're still better drivers than Al... for now. The only edge we have? Adaptability. We can think on the spot, improvise or change our approach when needed based on complex social and contextual cues. Self-driving cars? It's all based on programming and algorithms. One wrong calculation, and they might make the dumbest mistake ever. But as the technology improves, the gap is closing fast. Only time will tell. Who knows?
