This morning at #SEMIEXPOHeartland in Indianapolis, Indiana Secretary of Commerce David Adams joined Michigan Economic Development Corporation CEO Quentin Messer, Jr. CEcD and JobsOhio President and CEO JP Nauseef on a panel discussing the Midwest's momentum in the global semiconductor landscape led by SEMI Americas’ President, Joe Stockunas. Indiana has long been a leader in advanced, smart manufacturing. The Hoosier state has also seen $11.3 billion invested in new EV battery plants, creating thousands of jobs and leading the way for smart mobility. Our history and growth in smart manufacturing and smart mobility have set up Indiana to succeed and be a leader in semiconductors in the Midwest. Sec. Adams highlighted how Indiana is leveraging its strengths while working to upskill and grow our workforce.
