Kicking off the year with clarity—on climate and beyond. Some days ago, we hosted Climate Dialogues at Norrsken Barcelona, and what a way to start the year. This wasn’t just another panel or networking session—it was a reality check on where Climate Tech stands in Spain and where it needs to go, from three key perspectives: - VCs breaking down the real challenges of funding Climate Tech (Breakthrough Energy , Net Zero Ventures, Kira Ventures…) - Founders who’ve made it big: Mitiga Solutions & Submer, sharing the raw, unfiltered reality of scaling - Early-stage entrepreneurs pitching their solutions, including our very own Norrsken members Octavi Uyà (Woodea) & Luis Medina Rivas (Tether (Techstars '23) But my favorite moment? Hearing Alejandro Marti, PhD and Pol Valls Soler share the kind of stories you don’t usually hear on stage. From game-changing breakthroughs to unexpected, almost surreal challenges—like Alex having to explain to his US investors that they needed a NIE just to invest in his company—it was a reminder that building in this space requires more than just great ideas.
