We are just driving back from holiday and on the way visited Etteliot and Alexandre EVRARD for a few days! I am really grateful to our journey and thankful to the phone call I had with Alex around 4 years ago. Alex and me had the intial idea much earlier (thanks Falk Harnisch and Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) for taking us). Unfortunately we had to make it years later as our lives took other directions but then joint again and pivoted to Etteliot first product - Etteliot S - which is able to treat and remove urine. Finding the right technology and perfect use case for treating urine was not trivial as a lot of solutions are in the market but we wanted to make no compromise and do not make waste and no plastic with a super efficient mechanism. Most important using the technology must be as easy as at home. We opened our mind and could find the right technology after a year of intense scouting and building prototypes on low budget. The last years Alex could really bootstrap Etteliot, build a team with Ella Daum, Valentin, Dorian Leblond Juliette Tatesausse Julie, Enora, Kazeem and bring the product to market and most important find great customer interest so that we now have made a lot of people happy and help keeping our environment clean. In April we could build trust with investors in Etteliot! Thanks Vincent GUILLOIS, Killian du Réau Bamboo Jocelyn Douillard ! It is great to see that we can really solve a problem for our customers, to forget about their urine at places without connections to the wastewater plants. At the picture you can see Alex preparing an Etteliot S for our garden. Although we saw firefly’s at the vacation house where we could relax with our friends at one of the most special places in western Brittany!
