Many critical infrastructures in Finland are located near the sea, which means that they need to monitor the water's surface for any potential threats. During the summer, boats may pose a risk, while in the winter, when the sea freezes, the sites become vulnerable to incursions by foot. To ensure security, long-range detection is required in all weather and light conditions. Additionally, the integration of VMS, cameras, and AIS is necessary.
