🐞Enabling the energy transition with collaboration 👩🔬 SOLID i is developing an ecosystem for iron-based hydrogen storage, and our palladium hydrogen separation technology is a provider for a complimentary solution, that aims to improve the efficiency of the system. 🌍 Headquartered in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, SOLID is in developing the Steam Iron Reactor. As the raw hydrogen from the reactor needs to be purified, the Hydrogen Mem-Tech Pd-Membrane is a perfect match as it not only can purify the hydrogen, but the byproduct is steam at high temperature and pressure that can be recycled to the reactor. This enables SOLID to improve the energy efficiency of their iron-based hydrogen storage system. 🌟 Mr. Joren Koevoets, Business manager at SOLID, explains that: “The product offered by Hydrogen Mem-Tech, in our opinion, provides an excellent match as the operating conditions allow for the steam generation to be reduced to a minimum”. Our Business develop manager, Stephan Laux, is happy to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding with SOLID has been signed, and that the cooperation is set for a start within the next few weeks and test the HMT Pd-membrane for the Steam Iron Reactor 🌟 ✡️ The possibility to place our technology within other existing systems is a great opportunity to show that the Hydrogen Mem-Tech palladium technology has multiple market verticals, and that we are able to deliver systems that can be added onto various other users. 💡 In developing novel technologies, it is important to explore all options, and this is certainly the case with our sales and technical teams teaming up and marveling at market mapping and innovation!
