Hi, my name is Will Behrns and I'm the Director of Rehab Residencies and Fellowship Programs at Hospital for Special Surgery and I'm excited to announce the launch of the HSS Rehab Mentorship certification. This first of its kind certification program is intended for therapists engaged in clinical mentorship, specifically those involved in post professional and peer mentoring. Our team here at HSS Rehab has created a resource for mentors, made by mentors. The certification program is a compilation of all of the presentations and programming our faculty members here have put together over the last several years related to mentorship. But this time we've packaged it in a fun and unique way. Learn from our amazing experts here at Hospital for Special Surgery Rehab as they take you through their decades worth of experience mentoring students, peers, residents, and fellows. This program really is unique and like no other program out there. You will engage with CEU courses, tests of knowledge, interactive games, and video clips. What makes this certification so unique is that it finally answers a burning question that we have in mentorship. How do you develop consistent mentorship practices while respecting the individual differences of mentors and mentees? Our faculty seeks to answer this question by reviewing the evidence behind effective mentor behaviors, communication strategies, delivery of effective feedback, and how to build effective relationships with mentees. This is what makes this certification applicable to all mentors, regardless of program type or setting. So we hope that you enjoy the content and sign up today to become an HSS Certified Mentor.
