Really cool, Donnie! But might I suggest a way to do away with the last turning opp to clean up the ODs? Two words...topping hob. 😉 Finishes the OD and generates the spline teeth all at the same time. I realize the part geometry and other considerations come into play. Nevertheless, this is a great demonstration! ⚙️👍

Very Nice vid , as always! But. 1. Spline should be machined after the OD is done. 2. When the ready part is falling from the tube into the tray, it damages itself and the present, already made (and already damaged) parts. 3. Usually by spline transmission the chosen material have to withstand surface pressure-wear and torque and this is usually not a sulfur and lead rich cold drawn steel bar.
