Welcome back to Western New York living. One of the most difficult things many individuals and families have to deal with in their lives is changing medical needs as folks age. Being able to stay in familiar surroundings is very important to a lot of people at Health Force. They specialize in providing non medical in Home Care Services for those who need it. We are happy to have with us today on set, Jessica Gibb and Carissa Shea from Health Force. Guys, thank you so much for being here. Thank you for having us to love that you're here now for people who aren't familiar with Health Force, Jessica. Tell us a little bit about it. Yeah, we are a licensed home care agency. We have been in the Western New York area for 40 years now. We recently are now a part of the Accord Care family of companies, which includes branches in Florida, Georgia and New York City. We are growing. We just opened a office in Orlando and we're expanding out into Rochester as well. On we really, our goal is to keep folks in their homes, in the comfort of their own homes and reduce the hospital stays and also keep them out of the nursing homes. So important, so wonderful for families. Now, what are some of the needs that your professionals care for in homes? Absolutely. So we have everything from we can assist with personal care aids or assistance on we do bathing assistance. Meal prep, we can help if they have a Hoyer lift. And Karissa will also talk about services under the waiver program where our service coordinators can even be a resource for other things outside of our agency as well. Amazing. What are some of the pay options, Jess? Absolutely. So we have private pay. We also have Medicaid, so we have the Medicaid consumer program, which is basically the consumer hires. Their own personal professional staff, they hand pick them, they could be friends, family, they can go in and help and they get paid for that. We also have the Medicaid waiver services as well. And then we pretty much can work with any insurance company as long as we're contracted with them. But our, you know, if they call in, we can help assist with planning any option and coming up with a care plan that best suits the. The family and the the client. That's so wonderful. Now, Carissa, tell me about the Medicaid waiver. If someone is watching at home and think they might qualify, tell us about that. Sure. So the waiver program is branched into two separate programs. One is the nursing home transition and diversion and the other one is for traumatic brain injury. Generally these the nursing home and transition and diversion program is for folks who have dementia have disabilities that prevent them from. Living independently at home. The traumatic brain injury is for folks that have sustained those types of injuries and also can't care for themselves at home. So our program is Medicaid funded and service coordinators are able to link them with other programs that help them live their their fullest lives. That's incredible. Now, I know that you wanted to quickly mention that you have some openings available. Can we talk about that? Absolutely. We are looking for care professionals to service. Our clients in the Western New York community, our clients depend on us to deliver truly, you know, exceptional care and live a full, active, healthy life. So we hold paid orientations in our Buffalo and Niagara Falls offices. We have HA classes that are coming up in April and May. Wonderful. Thank you so much for being here and for all this. Wonderful.
