Congratulations to the team led by Beryl Vedha Yesudhason on their study titled “Exploring the Fluorescence Bioactive Compounds in the Coelomic Fluid of Earthworms: Insights into Their Structural, Spectroscopic, and Functional Properties for Biomedical Applications”. ⠀ The research team analyzed the structure and function of fluorescent bioactive compounds in coelomic fluid, evaluating their potential biomedical applications. The study highlighted the compounds’ antimicrobial activity, cytotoxicity, and in vitro wound healing capabilities, particularly in indole-treated and arachidonic acid-treated cells. In this study, the Celloger® Mini Plus automated live-cell imaging system was used to monitor 3T3 cell growth in both control and experimental groups over a 48-hour period.
