"5s in food" likely refers to the concept of 5S, which is a methodology for organizing and maintaining a workplace (often used in manufacturing and management). It stands for Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. When applied to food, it could mean applying these principles to food preparation and storage areas to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and safety. In this 5s I learnt from my internship training ,that the food industry was conduct the small meeting about 5s that was explain about the food advisor of the Industry,he is esakidurai they guide me well ,thanks for the guidance

🎉 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗸 - 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱!🎉 In January 2021, I had the privilege of completing a 𝟭𝟬-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 in Food Technology at 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗸 - 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱, under the guidance of 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the entire course was conducted online, but it didn’t hinder the quality of learning. During the internship, I gained valuable insights into key topics, including: -𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 -𝐇𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐏 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 -𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 -𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 -𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐏𝐬) -𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐐𝐀) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 (𝐐𝐂) -𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 -𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐓𝐐𝐌) This internship provided me with the opportunity to strengthen my knowledge of food processing standards, techniques, and safety regulations. I'm excited to continue applying these skills in the food industry!

During my time at my internship, I have discovered the absolute quantity that functional kitchens cook with. In my own personal cooking, I make what I need, no more no less. On the other hand, at the kitchen where I intern, we have to make more than a personal serving because there are many people to serve. For example, look at this picture I took of all the onions I peeled. As you can see, there are quite a few. This was one of my big realizations of the sheer scale that working kitchens have to produce. In total, my internship has been successful in the way I wanted. I’ve learned the differences between personal kitchens vs. commercial kitchens via experiences like scale of food.

Dietetic Intern, follow this advice to help land a job after your DI. Connect with EVERYONE you meet during your internship on LinkedIn. You encounter a lot of people in your DI. Don't let that go to waste. Examples: -Your preceptors (especially the ones you really enjoyed learning from). -Chefs and food service directors you meet in your food service rotation. -Program coordinators you meet in your community rotation. -Fellow interns. -Internship directors. -People your preceptors work with (their bosses, their coworkers). When I did my internship I even connected with senior leaders that I hadn't met--like the CEO of the company I did my internship with! I just sent a connection request saying that I was enjoying my internship and I'd love to connect! And the majority of the time they connected back. Suggestions for the company from an ESG perspective 🚘On the way to the presentation, I was in the car with our supervisor. He shared his thoughts on interns with me. He said, "Your opinions are not whimsical; everything you share or propose helps us think outside the box. We've been here for 8 years or more, and things might start to feel routine. However, times have changed, and there are always improvements to be made. We need your fresh perspective! Your opinions are valuable." He gently added, "I know you might want some time to review the presentation. Let’s listen to some study music."
