🎈 Digital Communications Creations is celebrating another anniversary! Raritan Food Pantry (RFP) launched their website three years ago shortly after the opening of their needs-based food pantry in Raritan, NJ. The dual-language website receives an estimated 2K visitors annually and features necessary information for the pantry's volunteers and those seeking assistance in English and Spanish. Many of our community members are facing food insecurity, so it's important that those in need can easily access and understand the services available to them. RFP's non-profit funding is designated for basic operating purposes, leaving no room for any other spend. As with any business, a website has become a necessity, so it was a special opportunity for DCC to be able to donate the site's initial development and to continue to support RFP by donating the site's annual maintenance fees, totaling $1,500 over the three year period, to keep it up and running, ensuring it continues to provide necessary information to the community. DCC believes non-profit organizations are an integral part of any thriving community. Having the opportunity to support this vital organization to enhance their presence is key to achieving the DCC mission. #digitalmarketing #smallbusinessmarketing #njfoodbank #smallbusinessmarketing

I have 2 things for you to ponder: 1 - Last week I was helping welcome people to the Food Pantry for our Wednesday late afternoon/evening hours. In line were people who work in our community, coming after work to shop. I know this because they had uniforms and nametags from area businesses. Some had their kids with them, tired from a long day at school and/or day care. And everyone one of them depend on what is on these shelves to feed their families. 2 - Some of you might remember the panic you felt when you went to the grocery store early in the pandemic and found the thing that you needed unavailable. If you had to shop the food pantry and it was your only option because you were too short on cash from paying rent and all other life expenses to buy food and you got there and there wasn't much on the shelves - can you imagine the fear and panic? The good news is - that as a community - we can actually make it different. We can't change the dynamics that are causing people to need the pantry. (I don't have any tricks in my back pocket to change the economy, to change the housing shortage, to change the cost of day care or someone's income). But we can donate money to a food pantry or buy food to donate and fill shelves. That is in our collective power. I challenge you to to think of a way to make a difference today, and next week and the following week. Even if it's small, it will matter to someone. I know you all and you are a creative caring bunch. If you are looking for ideas or have ideas, your links are below <3
This is a photo of our pantry shelves at the end of a typical day. For over 40 years, we have provided food for people in our community without ever turning anyone away who met our eligibility requirements. For the first time in our history, we can no longer meet the need with our current resources. We have placed limits on how much food people can take, but we are still running out of food every week.We need your help to bridge the gap! Community Needs Network – Bringing Essential Support to Our Community✨ Over the past three years, our team has raised and donated over $100,000 to support our local communities through The Community Needs Network. This initiative is dedicated to uniting our efforts to make a meaningful impact for those in need.❤️ How It Works: The Community Needs Network operates on the strength of collaboration and generosity. Our team comes together to organize creative and engaging fundraising events. We use the proceeds to either purchase essential items or provide emergency kits when needed. Sometimes, instead of monetary funds, we collect direct donations of crucial items to distribute to those in need. This flexible approach ensures we can offer the right support at the right time, based on the community’s most urgent needs. We work to understand the most urgent needs of our community and provide targeted support, whether it’s food, hygiene supplies, or other critical resources. 👏 Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to essential items when they need them most. By pooling our talents and resources, The Community Needs Network is committed to making a difference, one act of kindness at a time. #CommunityNeedsNetwork #SupportLocal #MakingADifference #TerriHastingsRealEstateGroup #SupportOurCommunity #LocalHeroes #CommunityMatters #GivingBackTogether #CompassionInAction #CommunityStrong #EssentialSupport #TogetherWeCan#ImpactfulGiving#BeTheChange #SupportAndServe #LocalLove #MakeADifference

🌟 Ever wondered what happens to a tin of beans when you donate it? Here's the journey of one tin from your hands to those in need: 1️) Buy a tin – It all starts with you! You purchase a tin of beans and decide to make a difference. 2️) Donate the tin – You drop it off at one of our collection points, knowing it'll help someone in need. 3️) We sort the tin – Our amazing volunteers sort and organise all donated tins by date and type, ensuring we’re rotating our stock effectively 4️) We put the tin in our community supermarket – The tin takes its place on the shelves of our community supermarket, where those facing tough times can access it. 5️) The tin then goes to those in need – Finally, the tin of beans ends up in the basket of someone who needs it, providing them with a warm, nourishing meal. Every tin counts. Every donation matters. Thank you for making a difference! 🙌 #CharityJourney #FoodBankHeroes #CommunitySupport #DonateToMakeADifference #HelpingHands #CommunitySupermarket #HappyDaysUK #HappyDaysHalifax

BradyPLUS This is truly commendable! Isn’t the act of spreading love a form of sustainable development? 🌍❤️ I believe that the act of sharing love is not just an emotional connection but also a reflection of social sustainability. When people share, help, and care for one another, they are building a more united and compassionate community. 🤝✨ This virtuous cycle not only fosters social harmony but also inspires others to take action, creating a ripple effect of positivity. 🌟 Sustainability is not only about resources and the environment but also about the support and understanding among people. By spreading love, we are, in essence, creating a sustainable social value system—one where everyone feels valued and is motivated to work together for a brighter future. 🌱💡
🍰 Our BradyPLUS Michigan team helped make the holidays a little sweeter for families in our community — we donated the pans and helped put together cake kits at the Holiday Food & Toy Distribution event hosted by FireKeepers Casino Hotel yesterday in Battle Creek, MI.

💡 From Pop Tabs to Soup Cans: Small Actions, Big Impact! 💡 Did you know that saving aluminum pop tabs—and even the tabs from soup cans—has been a beloved way to support Ronald McDonald House Charities for decades? This simple idea started years ago and has grown into a powerful tradition of community giving. How does it work? Those little tabs are made of high-quality aluminum, which we collect and recycle. The funds raised help provide a home-away-from-home for families with hospitalized children, ensuring they can stay close during critical times. Why it matters: ♻️️ Tabs are small but mighty—they’re easy to collect and store! ♻️️ It’s a fun and meaningful way to engage your family, workplace, or school. ♻️ Every tab adds up to provide comfort and care for families when they need it most. Ready to get started? Find a container or ask me for one of our RMHC little collection houses! These handy containers make it easy to gather tabs and turn them into meaningful support. From soda cans to soup cans, every tab makes a difference. Together, we’re keeping a long-standing tradition alive and creating extraordinary impact. #RMHCDayton #PopTabs #SoupCans #CollectionHouse #SmallActionsBigImpact #CommunityLove
