Last week it was my pleasure to visit The Westin Southlake and meet up with Paul Barham the CEO of Harrell Hospitality Group, LLC, who owns and operates the property, and Volkan Tekinkoc, CHA, the General Manager of the hotel. Recently prestigious MINA Awards were announced, and Harrell Hospitality Group, LLC was recognized in three different categories, including: the JW Marriott, Jr. Guest Experience, the Food and Beverage Excellence, and the Bonvoy Marriott Loyalty Luminary awards. These are tremendous achievements that illustrate the operational excellence of Harrell in providing a unique guest experience across their portfolio. And for this hotel specifically, Volkan does an amazing job of maintaining the highest of guest feedback scores, and always executes on key initiatives, such as driving new Bonvoy enrollments. Volkan was very deserving to also be recently recognized as the General Manager of the Year by Marriott International. It was great to tour your property and see not only the artistic nuance and amazing product, but also the easily recognizable engagement and friendliness of the staff. Volkan and Marwan, thank you for your hospitality for for being hoteliers in the truest sense. Congratulations to Paul Barham, Erin Bertollini, Volkan Tekinkoc, CHA, Marwan Alaref, CRDE, and the entire Harrell Hospitality team. You deserve these tremendous achievements and I am sincerely grateful for our partnership.
