Hanwha Aerospace’s Post

Hanwha Aerospace has received Approval in Principle (AIP) certification from DNV for our 200kW hydrogen fuel cell system designed for maritime applications. The certification ceremony took place on March 12th at our R&D Center in Pangyo, with Executive Director Dong Jo Oh of Hanwha Aerospace and Vice President Sung-ho Shin of DNV in attendance. This certification, following our previous approval from the Korean Register of Shipping, validates that our technology meets rigorous international safety and performance standards. With this certification, Hanwha Aerospace is positioned to begin full-scale marketing of our maritime hydrogen fuel cells globally and secure type approval for our Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell technology. We remain committed to collaborating with Hanwha Ocean to advance zero-carbon maritime solutions and help the shipping industry significantly reduce carbon emissions. #MaritimeInnovation #HydrogenFuelCells #Sustainability
