💡🌊 Closing of the European #CARBO4POWER project❗ On October 22 and 23, AIMEN had the pleasure of attending the final review meeting of the #CARBO4POWER project at IRT Jules Verne. After 48 months of dedication, this ambitious #H2020 initiative, carried out alongside 17 European partners, represents a significant leap forward in offshore wind and tidal energy innovation. 👉 Project Objective: To develop a new generation of lightweight, high-strength, multifunctional, digitalized multi-materials for wind and tidal turbine rotor #blades. Our efforts included the optimization and advanced manufacturing of modular prototype wind turbine blades using commercial and developed materials, including the innovative 3R vitrimer resin, through automated #manufacturing processes. 🚀 Results: We achieved a 25% reduction in scrap, a 40% reduction in manufacturing costs, and a 15% decrease in environmental impact per WTB. These outcomes highlight the great potential of #CARBO4POWER’s solutions to enhance durability, efficiency, and eco-friendliness in marine energy. 👏 A big thank you to all partners in #CARBO4POWER for their collaboration and contribution to these outstanding results.
