I’ve been quiet lately, particularly since last week, thinking a lot about how we can create more ease in life. The basic care we all deserve shouldn’t feel this hard to get and maintain.
I don’t have the solutions (yet! 😉) but I feel good about offering some small ways to help. Check out our mental health check up and reset packages at

And stay tuned for more conversations on how we can create ease in practical and sustainable ways.
So I just finished texting with a friend. Who is trying to find a therapist? And I found myself thinking this is the 5th conversation I've had in 2 1/2 days with somebody who is. You know. Versed in therapy, experience with therapy, had a therapist before and it's just struggling. It's just having a hard time, like having a hard time finding somebody, having a hard time in life, in relationships, in whatever. And I just, I guess I want to say two things. One. If you fall into this category, if you're feeling this. You are not alone. You are one of many, many, many. You are. You're one of the majority. I have been there. It took me a really long time to find the therapist that I see and honestly this weekend has been a very high number, but. On a regular basis, I'm always talking to people. How do I find a therapist? Why is this so hard? And it just. It shouldn't be. It shouldn't be this hard. It shouldn't feel like we are all struggling. And I mean that for all of us who are in this system. So as a client, it shouldn't feel this hard for all of my therapists out there. It shouldn't feel this hard to get our services out in the world, to get paid on time to, to, to run the businesses that we run to try to serve the, the communities that we want to serve. And for those of you looking like you deserve more ease and you know, for the most part. Me and all my colleagues really want you to have that. And we're working on it and also. The whole system feels like it's coming up short and I wish I had really good answers. You know, I think that I think about a lot of things. I have lots of ideas, but like I don't have a three-step plan that makes this as simple as it should be and a sustainable as it should be for you and for, you know, whatever therapist you see, but. I'm trying, my colleagues are trying, and I know that you all are trying to. We're really working to make this, this whole therapy thing happen and you deserve for it to be easier And with that in mind. At GTA, we are for the rest of this year, so now through the end of 2024, offering some reset packages. And so this is really about kind of giving you as a client, whether you are brand new to therapy, this is your first time ever even thinking about going, or you've taken a break or your therapist moved or you moved or whatever the situation is that you are finding yourself restarting the process. I know that it feels hard. And I think a lot of us are really exhausted and depleted and struggling to find the energy to do what we already are committed to doing. And the idea of hunting down a therapist that takes your insurance, that's affordable, that meets your needs seems really daunting. And so we're offering this reset package comes in a couple of options I'll tell you about in a second. But the recent packages are really about getting started and making it easy. We hope that GTA will be your quote UN quote. Ever home for therapy and that you will find a great match here and you'll be really happy. But even if you don't. If we can help you to get in two or four or six sessions before the year is over so that you can just feel supported. In whatever is immediately in front of you that feels overwhelming or stressful or anxiety provoking or depressing. Then we want to do that. We want to make this work so. Our end of the year packages are designed to help you do just that. Get on the website, pick a number of sessions, sign up our. Our office will call you within a week. We can have you seeing one of our therapists or one of our coaches and. And just. Consider it my holiday gift to you, my Christmas gift, my early Christmas gift, my Thanksgiving gratitude for all of you who are just trying, trying really hard to take care of yourself so you can take care of each other. And if we can offer a little way to make that just a bit easier, I'm happy to do that. So nuts and bolts, if you really need to know, obviously it's on the website, visit grouptherapyassociates.com. Up in the top corner you will see a button that says start here. Click that button. That is all about getting you started as quickly as possible. And you've got four options. So the first is our mental health checkup. This is a one time session. It includes several online assessments. So you'll take the assessments before your appointment. You'll meet with a therapist. You guys will go over the scores to assess depression, anxiety. There are some other very specific options you can choose around PTSD and OCD and some other things, grief, and one of our therapists or coaches will just kind of walk you through it. What are the scores tell us? But more importantly, what do you have to say? Share what's going on with you and leave that single session with a better understanding what's happening for you and also a better understanding of the ways in which you can take better care of yourself. Some coping strategies, some skill sets, some resources for you to lean into. The other three options are packages of just therapy sessions, so it does not include the same level of sort of deep dive assessments, although you can opt in to doing that if you'd like. So you can get two sessions for $300.00, four sessions for $500, or six sessions for $600.00. That's $100 a session. Outside of using insurance, you're going to be hard pressed to find probably a better deal on therapy, especially with a level of qualified therapists that we offer here at GTA. I am really excited to offer this and make it easy. I want a little bit more ease and a lot more support for you. So if you've got questions, message us, hop on the website. Pick your package. Let's get you started, and let's end the. You're right.
