Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen, as team guests, colleagues and friends. It's truly another to stand here before you today on this momentous occasion, the inauguration of Elam 26 at General Fusion. I'm really delighted to see such a distinguished gathering of the General Fusion team and the 1st place investors, board members, politicians, business leaders and so many others with their commitment to advance fusion energy. I've dedicated the last 40 years of my career to the fusion industry and over the last 10 years I've been leading your fusion. I had the privilege of coordinating the work of 5000. A scientist in Europe, a majority in this field has been 1 of continuous learning and discovery, and throughout that time I became also in contact with with general fusion and I have infested this technology several times over 15 years. And I couldn't confidently say that it's built upon a very strong foundation of plasma science and engineering excellence. I see no fundamental show stoppers with the magnetized target approach. There are some things which might be difficult, but there's way forwards and solutions. And the important thing about LM 26 and the general fusion approach is that there's profound advantages that make one of the promising approaches I have accounted for achieving practical commercial fusion. When I was here in 2015 to assess the company for a Dutch investor. I wrote a report of a number of pages and my last paragraph I said, well actually what the company is doing is really good and I can imagine that after my retirement I could work for such a company. We are really an exciting time in in fusion energy and the momentum behind commercial fusion is development is stronger than ever. By collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the UK Atomic Energy Authority, the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Savannah River National Lab, General Fusion is fostering the kind of innovation and cooperation that will drive this technology toward commercial viability. I would say, and I'm not the first one to say, that one of the key strengths of General Fusion is the exceptional team. This is a nimble, highly capable group that iterates very quickly to achieve results, which is a crucial trade in this fast evolving industry. Their ability to rapidly test, learn and refine their approaches exactly what is needed to turn fusion into reality. Alarm 26 represented significant milestone in this journey and I, like many of you, am eagerly full looking forward to the results. This defines some body's years of dedication, expertise and vision, and it's another step toward making fusion a practical, scalable energy source for the world. With that, I want to extend my sincere congratulations to the whole general fusion team and I wish you, of course all the success in. Achieving the ambitious objectives of LM26 and of course, as a scientist, but also as a as a person interested in improving this world. I look forward to witnessing the groundbreaking progress you're sure to make in the years ahead. Thank you very much.
