Great day with these bunch of hackers. Good thing they had nets up! Enjoying a round of Top Golf with the best office staff and friends. Life is better on the green.

Data is new gold , it can be your data as well 😃 keep yourself aware of Data Privacy laws in your country , your rights , your duties, penalties , classification of data , data monetization …
Average Indian mobile use is 8 hour plus daily , which means 450 crore hours of data is getting generated daily. Imagine how much data will get generated by India alone in next 5 years !!
For intended and unintended use
For good, bad and ugly use
Yes, we are talking about 821250 crore hours of data generated by mobile only.
This numbers will go out of proportion when we add IOT devices, sensors and other things generating data
It will go out of control if not regulated when we add permutation and combination which AI , AGI and ADI can do , for good to human and bad to human both …
Tech is like a knife , you can do anything, so the doer is responsible , not the knife or maker of knife 😃
Interesting time for law makers and lawyers in this space 🙏
Responsible use by accountable people is the key 🔑 mantra

One parting thought before wrapping up the day:
What happened today was not an issue of “security platform” run amuck. If CrowdStrike had been an EDR-only vendor the same issue could have happened.
What we saw today was the perfect storm of “low probability/high impact” event with a dose of monoculture thrown in for good measure.
Plan accordingly.
Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless individuals and families forever impacted. The events of that day shaped our nation, and we stand together in resilience and hope.

A Heartbreaking Start to the New Year
On New Year’s Day, I was all set to share cybersecurity tips for PC Matic on Newsmax Media, Inc. Television, ready to kick off 2025 with a renewed mission to help 1 million families stay safe online through Stealth Family and the CyberSecure Mindset initiative. But sometimes, life takes an unexpected turn.
The tragic events in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve shifted the focus entirely. A senseless act of violence on Bourbon Street claimed lives and left countless others devastated. Instead of discussing online safety, we found ourselves grappling with the harsh reality of a tragedy that no one should ever have to endure.
My heart goes out to the victims and their families, and my deepest gratitude goes to the law enforcement officers who worked tirelessly to manage the situation and protect others.
This incident underscores the importance of vigilance—not just in the digital world but in every aspect of our lives. While my mission remains to keep families safe from #cybercrime, moments like this remind us that safety takes many forms, and our work must address both physical and digital threats.
As we move forward into 2025, let’s stay focused on building a safer, more secure world for everyone. If you’re ready to join the mission or learn more about keeping your family safe, visit www.StealthFamily.com.
Together, we can honor the lives lost by committing to a future where safety is a shared priority.

Relationships are hard. Parent and child, boss and employee, city parking authorities and our desire to park wherever our heart takes us. More horrifying still is the relationship between any object in your Active Directory and the structure (or lack thereof) with which you secure it.
🚧 Every object in your #ActiveDirectory is a securable object, but based on Trimarc's collective expertise over thousands of AD and Entra ID security assessments, the only true relationship we see is between those objects and most people's misunderstanding/outright ignoring of them.
In this webcast, Trimarc Senior Consultant Jim Sykora will scoop out and lay bare the guts of the Security Descriptor pumpkin 🎃 in order to leave you with a better understanding of the fundamentals of AD security permissions and delegations.

IT departments within local governments are often under-resourced compared to their counterparts in the business world, working with smaller staffs and tighter budgets. This makes them particularly vulnerable to potentially devastating unplanned downtime, whether from hardware failure, human error, natural disasters or cybercrime.
