This International Women’s Day, Gameto hosted a panel at #SXSW to discuss the future of women’s health. We discussed biotech, consumer healthcare, investment, and advocacy and shared insights on how technology is reshaping care and why advancing innovative solutions in women’s health is more important than ever. The panelists explored the many benefits of working in women’s health, including the vast white space for novel treatments, diagnostics, and consumer products, along with the increasing financial power of women. At the same time, they addressed key challenges—such as the lack of dedicated women’s health divisions in pharma, gaps in basic education, censorship and the absence of strong IPO precedents. The conversation focused on actionable takeaways to drive progress and ensure women’s health gets the attention and investment it deserves. Thank you to our panelists and everyone who joined us.
