Merging Sustainability with AI-powered Learning for a Brighter Tomorrow | I share tips on how to build and enable net zero organizations | CEO & Co-Founder @ Empacto

🚨 241 million green jobs by 2030… but who’s going to fill them? The green economy is booming. From solar panels to electric trucks, the future is bright 🌱 But there’s one big problem: We don’t have enough skilled people to make it happen. Green job demand is growing 4x faster than green skills. That’s like building a spaceship… with no astronauts. 👉 Many workers have the right skills but don’t list them. 👉 Companies are training from scratch when they don’t have to. 👉 Countries are losing talent to others offering better opportunities. So what do we do? 🟢 Encourage people to share their green skills proudly (no, it’s not greenwashing). 🟢 Create clear, trusted green certifications. 🟢 Get governments and businesses to team up on green training. The clock is ticking. If we want a greener world, we need a greener-skilled workforce — and we need it now. Let’s get to work 💪 #GreenJobs #Sustainability #FutureOfWork #NetZero #GreenSkills #WorkforceDevelopment Source: Global Green Skills Gap Research Report

Upskilling and reskilling existing groups, while empowering youth as a green workforce, will be key to unlocking this potential.

Thank you for an insightful post Max Kaiser! A quick look at the UNIDO website tells me that Engineering & Technical, Science, Operation management and monitoring skills are listed in the Green General Skill Index. As a graduate student in energy engineering, I wonder how I can contribute to the green workforce by applying my current skills and also learn the other ones on the list. I'd be happy if you could share some insights!
