Leo Kawasaki introduces Corelio, a groundbreaking off-road personal mobility vehicle designed for exceptional performance across varied terrain. Equipped with four robotic legs, it combines advanced mobility with the handling and stability characteristic of Kawasaki motorcycles. While maintaining the thrill of riding, the vehicle continuously monitors the riders movements to create a seamless and intuitive connection between human and machine. The rear leg unit can swing up and down independently. From the front leg unit, allowing it to absorb shocks during walking and running. Additionally, when climbing steps, the rider can maintain a posture that avoids looking upwards and makes it easier to check the road conditions ahead. The writer can control the machine through weight shifts detected by steps and handlebars. Legs are equipped with hooves featuring a left, right, divided structure made of rubber. These hooves can adapt to various terrains, including grasslands, rocky areas, and rubble fields. Powered by a 150 cubic centimeter hydrogen engine, it generates electricity from a rear mounted hydrogen canister. This electricity drives the motors in each of the four legs and integrated instrument panel displays key data, hydrogen levels, the route to the summit, center of gravity, and more.
