FSD's Deputy Head of Operations, Angela De Santis, PhD PMP, enthusiastically took part in the NDM side event "Common Operational Datasets and Streamlined Reporting for Mine Action," alongside Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), APOPO , MAG (Mines Advisory Group), and the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) during the 28th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors & UN Advisers in Geneva. The session focused on the need for standardised data collection and reporting mechanisms in mine action to improve efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration. Speakers shared practical solutions, new technologies, and ways to improve collaboration between organizations. By standardising how we collect and share information, we can make demining efforts safer, faster, and more impactful worldwide.
