As a Red Wings fan, I’ve always been a fan of Ovechkin. He’s been a great ambassador for the game of hockey. I’ve always like the way he plays the game. He’s way more than just a goal scorer. He’s a fun player to watch and he celebrates every goal like it’s his first.

🔴 STOP doing 'X' ✕ Underestimating Ovi’s impact on hockey culture ✕ Ignoring the business side of sports ✕ Overlooking the legacy of local heroes 🟢 START doing 'Y' ✔️ Celebrating milestones in sports ✔️ Investing in local talent ✔️ Understanding the athlete's journey PS: At this rate, Ovi should consider running for mayor of D.C.!
