Esox House was featured in Architectural Record! Congratulations to Snow Kreilich Architects and the rest of the team!
Our Esox House project in St. Paul, part of a 7-acre mixed-use community Farwell on Water, has been featured in Architectural Record. The five-story apartment complex, with 221 market-rate rentals, sits on a formerly blighted plot once dominated by an abandoned 19th-century varnish factory. Remediating the site while integrating elements of its industrial past, the result was a community-oriented residential hub inspired by the local context. Dante A. Ciampaglia writes, “The neutral-toned Esox House was built using precast concrete, brick, and striated corrugated metal, with a design inspired, in part, by the sandstone bluffs that make up St. Paul’s geology. Street-facing units have terraces punched into the envelope, while those on the opposite side have rusted-metal-like balconies jutting out from the building.” Check out the full article and see Esox House at links below: Architectural Record: https://lnkd.in/gFDp36E5 Esox House: https://www.esox.house/ Buhl Investors TEN x TEN MEYER BORGMAN JOHNSON Emanuelson-Podas Civil Site Group, PC Design Tree Engineering and Land Surveying Summit Fire Protection Eco Achievers Frana Companies #ERHConsultingandSpecifying #JuleeQuarvePetersonInc Photo: ©Corey Gaffer, Gaffer Photography #snowkreilich #farwellonwater #esoxhouse #archrecord
