Almost 400 students lined up to get food at Deakin Uni Burwood Campus yesterday. I guess it’s easy to think it’s a rite of passage as a student to be poor and live on 2 minute noodles, but many of these students we met today, are really struggling. The price of rent, transport, and with no family support, it makes it very difficult to make ends meet. They make this food last as long as they can, but they only take what they can use, and they are very grateful to get it. 🥰
