Over 6.5 million students graduate in India every year.  Shocking Stat: >50% of them are believed to be NOT READY for jobs ! For a country with the largest youth population and the highest ambitions, these numbers are not just low but also dangerous. To combat this, we partnered with YuWaah India at UNICEF last year to launch STEP UP: Bano Job Ready to facilitate job readiness for India's youth. In over 6 months, we have physically trained over 800 students for job readiness across institutes and foundations such as DSEU UNIVERSITY, School of Open Learning (SOL), Delhi University - DU, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India (National Institute of Career Service), Mega Matrix Private Limited, Tata STRIVE, Tech Mahindra Foundation, Centum Foundation, Lal Bahadur Shastri Training Institute, Magic Bus India Foundation, NIIT Foundation, Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y). The latest addition here is our partnership with Indira Gandhi National Open University to enhance the job readiness of its students. Sharing a few glimpses from our journey so far !
