On International Women's Day, we'd like to highlight the youngest female member of our team - the inspirational HERINE ONDOLO ! Herine joined Flux as a GIS Engineer and Data Analyst last year, having completed her degree in Geo-Information in 2023. From the moment that Herine stepped into the office, her incredible work ethic, problem-solving attitude, and insatiable thirst for learning was apparent - alongside her beaming smile that is never far away from the surface. In the past six months her work on GIS for Flux has been extraordinary, developing new systems for data collection and presentation that have increased the productivity and traceability of our field operations and paved the way for rapid scalability of our work. As recognition of this, the Flux GIS team has been invited to speak at the Esri Eastern Africa GIS Conference in Mombassa later this year, to present their work on innovative GIS solutions for climate challenges.
