First Mutual Holding Co.’s Post

It’s not every day that a local CEO’s journey from corporate banking to mutual banking is recognized on a regional stage, but that’s exactly what’s happening with our very own Thomas Fraser, CEO of First Mutual Holding Co. His story is rooted in Lakewood, where he grew up walking past First Federal Lakewood on his way to school and was exposed to the world of mutual banking early. Tom's deep commitment to community service and local impact lead him to join First Federal Lakewood’s management team and eventually help establish First Mutual Holding Co. His efforts, from helping fund a track for Lakewood High School’s new gymnasium to helping families keep their homes during the 2007-2009 financial crisis, highlight the growing importance of community banking. Watch WKYC Studios's video below to learn how Tom's dedication to mutual banking is reshaping the financial landscape.

Congrats Tom! Well deserved!
