Do you ever do something and think, "I've done it now"?! I do all the time! ✌️ Yesterday, I woke up thinking, "Wow, you're really gonna do this!" 🙊🙈 So, 10pm (ish) Monday night, I saw a Facebook ad for Ladies Kickboxing starter classes. Here’s how it went: 1. Clear CTA: Clicked the button to get more info. 2. Automated Response: Clear message saying the team would get back to me within 48 hours. 3. Quick Follow-up: By noon Tuesday, I had all the info I needed—an email link to book and a call from the team. 4. Booked!: A little after noon Tuesday, I was booked for 4 weeks of beginner Ladies Only Kickboxing sessions: https://lnkd.in/ejDFM98q 5. First Session: By 19:50 the same day, I was in Barnsley meeting a fantastic bunch of people. From the door to the floor, the members and team were so friendly and professional, making a slightly scared me feel comfortable straight away. 6. Kicking Pads: At 20:00, Nathan Hill had me kicking pads and belly laughing, having so much fun! 7. The Killer Offer: At 21:00, I got an offer too good to refuse, so of course, I took it! 8. Signed Up: By 21:30, I signed up for the next sessions after the initial 8. Kudos to The Combat Academy for slick marketing, onpoint professional friendly team, and great customer care. You made it so easy to want to get involved and do it again 👊 Was I scared and nervous? Yes, but I did it! And I loved it. Met some new ladies, belly laughed, and kicked some pads. What's not to love? Given the recent change in weather, you’re likely more motivated than ever to knock off a few lbs in time for summer 😎 But don’t make this mistake👇🏼 🕯️ **Burning The Candle At Both Ends** 🕯️ The fastest way to set yourself up for failure is going from ZERO to ONE HUNDRED 💯 You set yourself an unrealistic ‘to-do’ list 📝 You start off the week telling yourself… - ‘I’m going to prep all my meals’ - ‘Go to the gym 6 days this week’ - ‘Get 10k steps in’ - ‘Eat clean’ - ‘No takeaways’ - ‘No alcohol’ - ‘100% on plan’ - ‘Oh, and I’m cutting out carbs too!’ Only to get f*cked off by midweek at this full-body post-it note suit to-do list, that you end up sacking off the lot because you can’t complete ALL of it 😖 Sound familiar❓ Instead of an unrealistic to-do list and post-it notes up to your eyeballs, just pick one thing & do it consistently. Create a small, easy win, build momentum & consistency until this one thing becomes a habit, and you’re ready to add in the next ‘one’ thing.
