Hello, We are looking for a community outreach advocate for the Female Founders Institute. Job Summary The Community Outreach Advocate is responsible for building relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness, engagement, and support. This role involves coordinating outreach programs, advocating for community needs, and fostering partnerships that drive positive change. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to promote the organization’s initiatives. Advocacy & Awareness: Represent the organization at community events, forums, and meetings to advocate for key issues and raise awareness. Program Development: Assist in planning and implementing outreach programs, workshops, and events to educate and support community members. Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach activities and events. Resource Connection: Serve as a liaison between community members and available resources, services, or support programs. Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to create outreach materials, newsletters, and social media content to engage the community. Grant & Funding Support: Assist in identifying funding opportunities and partnerships that support outreach initiatives. Data Collection & Reporting: Track outreach efforts, measure impact, and report outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. Qualifications & Skills Experience with Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in community outreach, advocacy, or nonprofit work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations. Passion for community service and social impact. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. Event planning and public speaking experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media platforms.
