Delighted to have hosted the CEF at our flagship NIFRS scheme. A great opportunity to showcase a truly unique facility that provides real life senario training and promotes innovaite design and construction.
Big thanks to Felix O'Hare & Co. Ltd and to Conor McCrory of Strategic Investment Board and Maurice Wray of the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service for showing us around the new Learning & Development College at Desertcreat today. The many training settings including the flood tank, burning car, ship set and collapsing buildings will provide NIFRS, and crucially also overseas emergency forces, true-to-life training scenarios to raise understanding and learning of rescue situations. This facility is truly world-class and shows not only the vision and focus but the quality of design construction that we can deliver with local companies like Felix O’Hare.
