#Tech#WeAreHiring
So we're in Atlanta. We're connected here with teams around the globe actively watching our site as we gear up for the Super Bowl. We've got a huge team here today making sure everything goes super smoothly for our customers that are enjoying Super Bowl 59 right now. Kick off just happened. Yeah, today's a big day. Lots of game day, performance testing and just really making sure that we were ready for all kind of scalability. Our deposit dollars are really good coming in. We've already eclipsed last year already at kickoff. Preparation really does start, you know. Last Super Bowl, I mean, it's really the combination of an entire season of work. We're preparing our tech, we're preparing our teams to be trained up and ready to go. Think of it like Mission Control launching a rocket into space. We have all of the people who needs to be here to be able to react in the moment just in case something happens. The war room is pretty much just all hands on deck. This is our busiest day of the year, so a lot of people are really interested in making sure that this is a flawless experience as we see the game unfold, as we see touchdowns. Actively watching these dashes to see, OK, are we good, Are we feeling comfortable? Is there anything we need to tune in? You know, when everyone at the Super Bowl they're expecting the candles have to work. And it's really on this tech team to deliver. The ultimate goal is delivering really great experiences for our customers. That's always #1 every year we break a record year over year. We had our highest record for FanDuel, over 70,000 beats per minute just on our sports book alone, 1600 bits per second on our casino product. We just passed our largest number of customers simultaneously on site. Over 2 million. So far, so good. We're answering and seeds of less than a minute. We're getting to everybody. Once the game ends, we see a massive spike in contacts. They're excited to receive cases, they're excited to help customers. Spoiler alert, huge volume for us and our systems held out, so we were scaled accordingly in the prep. Worked out. Well deserved for the company to celebrate. Even though engineers don't usually like to be in the center of spotlight, it's kind of the one time they really get to shine. There is so much work behind the scenes and this is where it all. Dominates and the one single death.
