Exa is celebrating 8 years! Eight years ago, Exa was just an idea – a vision for an engineering consultancy that did things differently. We saw a need for greater transparency, flexibility, and collaboration in product development. We believed engineering should be a force for good, driving meaningful impact for businesses, people, and the planet. And, most importantly, we wanted to build a Company where trust, respect, and integrity weren’t just words, but the foundation of how we worked–both as a team and with our clients. Fast forward to today, and we’re incredibly proud of the Company, culture, and technologies we’ve built. From protecting utility networks by managing energy loads and water flow in millions of homes, to saving lives through global mine detection, and creating a world with zero preventable deaths through continuous diagnostic monitoring, Exa has been part of developing products and platforms that are changing our world for the better. The challenges and lessons have been plenty (as any founder knows!), including a global pandemic, an unpredictable economy, and seismic shifts in technology and ways of working. We’re deeply grateful to our team members, past and present, and to the clients and partners who have supported us, trusted us, and inspired us to remain true to our purpose through it all–Built for Good. Looking ahead, we’re committed to continuing to challenge the status quo–whether through the technologies we develop, the culture we shape, or the tools we create to accelerate innovation. The next chapter for Exa is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see where it leads.
