Everett is growing — smarter, safer, and stronger. In her 2025 #StateoftheCity address, Mayor Cassie Franklin highlighted some of our major wins, including: ✔️ Crime rates, including violent crime and vehicle theft, are down ✔️ Hired 120+ new police officers and 100+ new firefighters over the past several years ✔️ Issued THREE times more housing permits than the previous year - thanks to investments that streamlined and improved the efficiency of our permit process ✔️ Everett Transit is leading the region in ridership growth ✔️ Community Alternative Response Everett (CARE) team helped 1,800+ people in crisis or in need of social services support ✔️ Everett Mall redevelopment is underway - including Snohomish County's first Top Golf But the real story?
