This week I participated in a number of public events linked to digitalization and disruptive technologies. The role of the EIB Group to ensure that ideas, technologies and companies born in EU can also grow here to seize the opportunities of artificial intelligence and consolidate Europe as an innovation powerhouse was at the center of the event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg. Also the meeting with Digital Europe CEO's and the exchanges at the Institute of International Finance. This week we also announced new green investments for businesses in Denmark, Finland and Sweden. And finally, I had the opportunity to visit the Salt of the Chira hydropower station, a flagship energy infrastructure financed by the EIB that will guarantee energy security in Spain's Gran Canaria Island.
