I almost closed the wrong client. He pushed me back to the stone ages. On paper, it looked perfect: 1. Big company 2. Decent budget 3. Seemed ready to buy So I chased it. Pitched hard. Built a custom proposal. Even reshuffled my pipeline to make room for them. But two weeks in… 1. Endless revisions 2. Team misalignment 3. Zero decision-making power Turns out - I wasn’t speaking to the buyer. I was talking to someone who “loved the idea” but couldn’t even approve coffee budgets. It drained my time. Killed 2 other deals I didn’t follow up on. And left me questioning everything. That’s when I changed my system. 1. No more chasing low-fit leads 2. No more guessing who’s in charge 3. Just clean, verified, high-intent decision-makers Now? • Close faster • I qualify faster • And work only with the right-fit clients Lesson? The wrong client doesn’t just waste time - they block better ones. P.S. Is your pipeline full of potential or just full of noise? Let's fix that. 💬

The biggest time drainers are often the ones that look best on paper. Thanks for the share, Pascal.
