Simplifyber, a biomaterials startup focused on sustainable soft goods manufacturing, has raised a $12M Series A round led by Suzano Ventures, with participation from At One Ventures, Techstars, and Plug and Play Sustainability Fund. Cofounded by Maria Intscher-Owrang, Simplifyber is developing a 3D-moulding process using Fybron, a proprietary natural fiber liquid, and recently showcased a cellulose-based shoe upper in collaboration with Ganni during Paris Fashion Week.
