As the year winds down, I’ve found myself reflecting on the trail I’ve walked in 2024—a mix of adventure, growth, and cherished memories. Personally, it’s been a year of focusing on what truly matters: traveling with my kids while they’re still young enough to enjoy tagging along, prioritizing health, and meeting up with friends to create memories that will last a lifetime. These moments remind me why the journey is as important as the destination. Professionally, I took the plunge into the world of entrepreneurship and started my own venture, Beyond Axis. It’s been a step beyond the corporate world—a chance to create something meaningful, make an impact, and maybe even leave a legacy. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from my family and friends (After all, I’m a Gujrati, and entrepreneurship is in our blood! 😄). Now, it feels like I’m at base camp—time to pitch the tent, sip a warm drink, and enjoy the view of the trail behind me. @CES 2025 is here! Almost twenty years ago I had the privilege of hearing Jim Collins (author of #goodtogreat) speak at the ISPA - International SPA Association Conference. One statement struck me deeply and changed the trajectory of my career: “If you’re not a technology company today, you will be tomorrow. And if you don’t become one, you’ll be dead.” That quote is from almost 20 years ago. It sparked my shift from operating exclusively in brick-and-mortar businesses to exploring the immense value of data, what I now see as the treasure trove every business sits on. Over the years, I’ve embraced technology to transform operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation in industries ranging from wellness to SaaS. Fast forward to #CES 2025, and Kinzie Fabrizio’s words couldn’t ring truer: “Every company is a tech company now, and CES reflects that reality.” Today, as technology continues to blur the lines between industries, I’m reminded of the importance of foresight and adaptability. Businesses that harness their data and align with emerging tech trends are the ones that thrive. Can’t wait to see all the new traction and products coming out of CES this year!

Growth and comfort do not coexist. Grateful for this uneasy year that saw me: ✨ Wrapping up a decade at RF, a rollercoaster of 360-degree growth I’m only now starting to unpack. ✨ Going full philosopher-mode with deep reflections (read: existential spirals) that led to bold decisions — some already in motion, others simmering. ✨ Living the dream of teaching, now in the vibrant setting of Parsons School of Design — new school, new program, new culture, new language... All new except my passion for academia. ✨ Boosting a family business with my brother Emiliano Torres around highly specialized medical tourism in Argentina, and hitting record-breaking revenue... Reconstructive surgery meets User/Patient Experience. But 2024 was just the trailer. The feature film drops in 2025: 🎬 A hush-hush research collab with a disruptive startup in the medical sector is about to go live after several months of hard work... Trailer coming out shortly!  🎬 My passion project—years in the making—will launch, marrying human understanding, design, and innovation... Can never get enough! 2025 is shaping up to be a thrilling sequel. For now, I’m buckling up and keeping a glass of champagne to celebrate 🥂 and an extra coffee on hand to prepare for what's next ☕

As time passes, perspectives shift. Earlier in my career, I thrived on working through the holiday break—planning, catching up, and getting ahead. Now, I’ve come to embrace the slower pace, creating core memories with my family during those wonderfully unstructured weeks. Admittedly, the Type A side of me occasionally craved a meeting or two amidst the holiday chaos, but stepping away has left me recharged and ready to dive into 2025. My top 3 areas of focus for the year ahead: ⭐ More packaged, concise, and user-friendly tools for the CESMII ecosystem to leverage within their organizations and networks. ⭐ Working smarter, not harder! Leveraging technology to streamline less strategic tasks and better manage a demanding workload. ⭐ Welcoming our third daughter in March and embracing life as a working mom of three—with a focus on patience, balance, and grace. Here’s to fresh goals, new adventures, and driving innovation with CESMII in 2025! 🎉
