On Tim Smith, I'm a manager within the horse racing and greyhound trading teams. The Grand National is absolutely unique. It's the one race of the year where I would say the overriding factor for the popularity of the horse is its name. Horse racing is probably unique in that the odds are just so volatile. It's basically an amalgamation of hundreds of different variables that we have to consider to create the odds for an event that people want to bet on. We use speed figures, which are basically a numerical time figure attached to the horses past performances. After my initial odds are put out there, we would be shaping our markets depending on the weight of money for the different horses across the industry.
