Our #engineering student team was back in action on an #energy assessment at Bales Metal Surface Solutions, a #manufacturer of high-quality #coatings and #finishes that make metal parts stronger, smoother, and more reliable. Thank you to our hosts Stacey Bales and Michael Hill who passionately explained their company's history and toured us through the #manufacturing processes. The student team from University of Illinois Chicago College of Engineering observed numerous #bestpractices and identified potential #energysaving measures that will be calculated and shared soon with the client. Great job to Lead Student David Tith and our student team of Jahin Tatha, Prathmesh Vipra, Malhar Gaikwad, Jaswin Sri Raj Dasari, Kaitav Parikh, Jay Shinde, and Md Rashed Hossain.
