Our very own Kelsey Deutsch, Industrial Surface Chemist was featured in Taproot Publishing Inc. discussing our partnership with the Alberta Beverage Container Recycling Corporation to tackle the challenge of recycling drink pouches. These pouches—like those from Capri Sun or Kool-Aid—are made of layered materials (plastic, aluminum, paper) that are tough to separate and recycle. 37% of European consumers believe that paper and paper packaging are bad for the environment, while only 18% believe the paper recycling rate exceeds 60%, when it is actually 79%, the highest of any material in Europe, according to Two Sides’ own findings and figures from Cepi.
