“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.' (we're #hiring so please keep reading :) ) Quoting basketball greats, out of my comfort zone. Moving heavy things, sweet spot. Hiring a new team member, out of my comfort zone. Simplifying complex financial scenarios, sweet spot. The Grove Financial Group, along with my associate, Eric Christopherson, we're growing in service and scale. Impact, being defined as clients finding success in the things they wish to be successful in, we're at all time highs! Adding to our team helps us maintain impact for our clients as we grow. Impact is why we're here. We're looking for someone who looks forward to connecting with clients and connect the dots. I laughed to myself when I thought of the person this way, "I want my clients to be (marginally) more excited to speak to this person than to speak to me." This is a non-selling, part-time (~10-20 hours), 'hybrid' but predominantly remote role (so, looking Chicago burbs first). If this is you, a spouse, a friend, please make an introduction. Introductions are the best! - In gratitude.

Thinking of hiring a tech agency, but feeling uneasy? I've seen this countless times. CEOs and founders often worry about: 🔹 Losing project control 🔹 Overspending 🔹 Getting trapped in long contracts 🔹 Receiving misaligned results These concerns are valid. I've watched projects derail when companies rush into agency partnerships without proper planning. But here's the truth: working with an agency can be transformative when done right. The secret? It's about setting clear expectations, maintaining open communication, and implementing proper oversight. With the right approach, an agency can offer: 🔸 Fresh perspectives 🔸 Specialized skills 🔸 Extra capacity They can help you move faster and achieve more without the commitment of full-time hires. Remember, it's not about handing over control. It's about strategically expanding your team's capabilities. 🌟 DM me if you'd like to discuss how to approach agency partnerships with confidence.

When you're building a business from the ground up, there’s no shortage of tasks that need attention. From managing client relationships to crafting the perfect pitch, the to-do list never ends. But somewhere along the way, admin duties inevitably start to pile up. Scheduling, email management, handling logistical details, or keeping track of meetings and deadlines—these things can quickly become overwhelming. For many startups, founders and team members are forced to juggle administrative work on top of their core responsibilities. This leads to burnout, distractions, and a lack of focus on what truly drives growth. But without the luxury of hiring a dedicated EA, it’s easy to feel like you’re stuck in this cycle. A remote executive assistant is a powerful ally in the success of a startup or growing company. They provide invaluable support, help you scale efficiently, and allow leadership to focus on what matters most—driving growth. Having been involved in several startups from the very beginning, I've experienced firsthand the incredible hustle and determination it takes to get things off the ground. But one thing I’ve noticed across the board is this: even when these startups couldn't afford to hire a full-time executive assistant (EA), they understood the immense value that an expert in support and administration could bring to the table.

We're in hypergrowth mode at Motion (Creative Analytics) We've raised a $30M Series B. A priority topic for us? How to maintain our culture. Our culture charter today: 1) Prioritize transparency Reza, our CEO, does a great job at keeping us all in the loop and it's so appreciated. Transparency doesn't have to mean 100% is public. It means sharing early and often. 2) Keep a high bar for talent Don't lower the bar for talent -- hire genuinely awesome people (that's a mix of both skills and personality) 3) Recognize your team early and often. Take action to let everyone know that their opinions matter. Think: regular check-ins, 1:1s with CEO, recognition + rewards, encourage ideas to be brought forth. Shoutouts cost $0. Do them more often. 4) Make team events optional You shouldn't have to force social interactions. Make them available for those who want to join. There's nothing worse than "forced" culture. Real culture = pulls people to join. It does not push them. -- 👋 P.S. Check out our careers page! We're hiring for 11+ roles
