Yesterday, I joined Jodi Neuhauser's webinar "Building a 10-Step Plan for Your Career in Women's Health", which provided valuable insights for those looking to enter the field. As someone who recruits in this space, I wanted to gain insight into how these career transitions are being framed outside of a recruitment setting. What guidance is being offered, what misconceptions exist, and what gaps still need to be addressed? One point that stood out to me was Jodi's insight on how she defines a women’s health business—as any company advancing women’s health, whether they label themselves that way or not. Take ŌURA, for example—while known as a general health wearable, its cycle tracking features provide invaluable insights into hormonal health, reproductive health, and fertility. Innovations like this show how women’s health is being advanced even by companies that don’t explicitly define themselves within the space. Yet, despite its impact, women’s health companies don’t always have the same hiring infrastructure as pharma, biotech, and medtech. That’s a gap I felt compelled to bridge when founding Embark On Talent Ltd—helping these companies attract top-tier talent so that they can scale and thrive. Thank you to Jodi and In Women's Health for the insightful webinar. Let’s keep working to make women’s health careers more accessible, visible, and well-supported. If you’re exploring opportunities in femtech, women’s health, or wellness, I’d love to connect! #WomensHealth #Femtech

Great to see you on yesterday's call Natalie Wattenbach and such a valid insight that companies advancing women's health are more prominent than we realize - and as Jodi mentioned they're only going to get bigger, brighter and bolder! It's an exciting time to be in this space.
