As I reflect on the past few months, I can't help but be filled with amazement at how this year has been filled with countless firsts for me and my family. From my daughter's first day of Grade 1 to her first netball match and our first "big" school parent meeting, 2024 has been a whirlwind of new experiences, good, and bad, and a lot of milestones. As a parent, witnessing these moments has been both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, filled with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. In many ways, these experiences parallel the journey of a client embarking on their first collaboration with a virtual assistant. Just like navigating the complexities of 'big school' and extracurricular activities, the prospect of outsourcing tasks to a VA can also feel overwhelming and intimidating at first. You might be wondering: Will they understand my needs? Can I trust them to deliver results? How will this change impact my workflow? But much like the reassurance I offer my daughter and the way we navigate this new exciting journey that we face together, I want to reassure clients that they are not alone in their journey. Working with a VA is a collaborative partnership built on trust, communication, and mutual understanding. While it may seem daunting at first, with time and open communication, clients quickly discover the immense value that a skilled VA brings to their business. Just as my daughter's confidence grows with each new experience, clients too will find themselves navigating unfamiliar territory with greater ease and confidence. As a VA and social media manager, I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to embrace change and explore new opportunities for growth. Together, we can overcome any challenges and achieve success, one milestone at a time. So, as we continue to embrace the year of firsts, let's approach each new experience with courage, curiosity, and an open mind. Whether it's stepping into big school, stepping onto the netball court for the first time, or entrusting tasks to a VA, remember that every first is an opportunity for growth and discovery. And with the right support and guidance, anything is possible. Ready to take the next step in your business journey? Reach out to learn more about how I can support you on your path to success. #YearOfFirsts #NewBeginnings #VirtualAssistant #BusinessSupport #Empowerment #GrowthMindset #businessjourney

Do you hold back from learning something you’ve always wanted to do? This week, we're embracing one of my favorite themes: personal growth. 🌴 In High School, I was told that because I wasn’t taking advanced Maths or Science—and because my grades in those subjects weren’t that great — I’d never make it to university. They said I’d need to find a job that probably wouldn’t pay much, something mediocre. The teachers weren’t all that supportive, so I left in year 12, after getting a retail job at Kmart. However, there was still a fire in my belly for growth. I've known since I was a young adult that helping people was something I really wanted to do. I just had to figure out how! I knew I could do something more, something different. But the words of those teachers echoed in my mind, making me question my worth and potential. Insert a supportive work environment, people with science degree's and my (now) husband - one of the smartest men I've ever come across, and fast forward to today. Because of their guidance, their support and their belief in me, I have a degree (ner ner teachers - I went to uni after-all!!!), coaching, speaking and PT certifications under my belt. I’ve learned that no matter what anyone says, if you’re passionate about something—if it drives your excitement, enthusiasm, and purpose—you’ll find a way to achieve what you want to achieve. So ... this week, we’re focusing on giving ourselves permission to invest in our personal growth. Investing in ourselves isn’t selfish—it’s essential. When you prioritise our own development, you open the door to new opportunities, stronger relationships, and a deeper understanding of your purpose. Want to start investing in your own growth, then start with boosting your Self-Esteem! I'm running the "Self-Esteem Reset Workshop" again next week and I'd love to fill the zoom room with amazing women who want to be the very best versions of themselves and truly love investing in their own personal development! Take the time to invest in your growth today! You're worth it! 😍 😘

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 🥹 As I enter the final week of my virtual assistant course, I’m overwhelmed with a mix of emotions 😩🙈 Looking back, there were days filled with uncertainty, fear, and doubt—days when I questioned if I’d ever make it this far. I remember feeling stuck at certain points, wondering if I had the strength to keep pushing forward. But through those moments of self-doubt came growth. I found small wins in every challenge. Whether it was mastering a new tool, completing an assignment, or simply showing up for myself when it felt tough—each step, big or small, was a step toward something greater. I’ve learned that progress isn’t always linear, and sometimes it’s okay to pause, reflect, and continue at your own pace. What’s been even more eye-opening is building this journey in public. Sharing my wins and losses with all of you has kept me accountable and inspired. Being transparent about the highs and lows has taught me more than I ever expected. I’ve connected with so many of you who offered encouragement, shared similar struggles, and even celebrated my small victories alongside me. It’s been a powerful reminder that we are not alone in our pursuits. For everyone who has been following along, thank you for your support and words of motivation! I’m so grateful to be part of a community that believes in growth and encourages one another. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next. If you’re going through your own process—whether you’re starting something new or working toward your goals—keep pushing forward. It may not always be easy, but the final week will come, and it’ll be worth it. #BuildingInPublic #CommunitySupport #VirtualAssistantJourney #PersonalGrowth

✨Day 33/49✨ 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 𝐌𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲💡💡 𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 🥳😁👏 There was a time in my life when I felt utterly stuck. I vividly remember sitting at my desk, staring at a growing pile of tasks I couldn’t seem to tackle, feeling defeated. I was working long hours in a job that left me drained and uninspired, constantly questioning if this was all there was to life😔 The breaking point came when I missed an important family gathering because I was tied to work😩 That evening, as I listened to the laughter and stories shared through a video call, I realized how much I was sacrificing for something that didn’t align with my dreams. The regret was overwhelming, and it hit me. I needed to change, not just for myself but for the people who matter most to me💗 I decided to take a leap of faith and invest in myself📚 I enrolled in a virtual assistant program, dedicating countless hours to learning new skills, building confidence, and shaping a career that aligned with my values. The journey wasn’t easy, there were moments of doubt, sleepless nights, and a steep learning curve. But with each small win, I began to see a transformation. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve built a career that not only fuels my passion but also gives me the freedom to prioritize what truly matters 💪 That painful moment of realization became the catalyst for a life filled with purpose and joy 🤩 Sometimes, the hardest moments lead to the most profound changes. If you’re feeling stuck, trust that it’s not the end of your story; it’s just the beginning of something beautiful😇🤩🩶 #49DaysVALinkedinBootcampWithTMA #Day33ofVALinkedinBootcamp #VirtualAssistant #PersonalStory #GrowthMindset

Before taking time off, invest in your future self. Creating to-do lists and wish lists for summer 2025 may not feel fun right now, but there is value in working through this while summer 2024 is fresh on your mind. Creating lists can sometimes feel overwhelming. Here are some things to consider: 1. Who on your team would enjoy a new challenge or task? 2. What local resources have you not yet taken advantage of? 3. What tasks may be easy to outsource to a consultant or subject matter expert? Need help brainstorming? I'm here to help! Reach out, I'd love to chat. #summer #summercamp #daycamp #summerlearning #planahead

It's reflection day baby! New week, same habits 💪 So here's what I learnt last week - Contrary to popular belief, quitting is for winners. Knowing when to quit, when to change direction, demand more from life, give up on something that isn't working and move on, is a very important skill that people who win at life all seem to have - Steven Bartlett - Corporate content is dead. People want to consume content created by people. Find your brand voice, hero those that work within the business and tell the story of why you exist. This is what people relate to - Liz Willits - It's okay to support another person who is doing something similar to you. It won't hurt your business. If anything, it will help you both. Competition happens at the bottom. Collaboration happens at the top. Nominate: Rosie Chong your turn for a reflection post 🔥 Pictured: Last week, I got to have a proper catch up with epic human, Jackson Mills. We bonded over what it's like to be young, driven and building something that is purpose driven. It was epic to hear what he's doing with Mateship - a product that allows customers to hitch a ride on orders already being delivered to their location so they get free shipping and cash back. Definitely one of those ideas where you're like "how has this not existed yet?!" SO excited to follow this journey and witness the growth! #marketing #growth #reflection #collaboration #networking

💥 𝗜 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗢𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗬 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧! Here's what happened: ➡️ I'm in CENTRAL time zone, working with a client. ➡️ New client is in EASTERN time zone. 𝗔𝘁 𝟳:𝟱𝟵 𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘, 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Fresh from a run and a quick shower, I was thinking about all I had planned for the next hour when my thoughts drifted to home... 🕒 'It's 9 am at home...I wonder how my loved ones are...' 🚨 𝗢𝗠𝗚 - that means it's 9 am where my new client is, AND OUR MEETING STARTS AT 9 AM!!! To say I got ready as fast as possible is an understatement. I jumped onto Zoom 6 minutes late. 𝗕𝗨𝗧, I turned my mistake into a teaching moment: 💡 I seamlessly tied it into our topic: 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬! I modeled how to take ownership when you mess up. So well, in fact, that the next time I lead a remote session on this, I might just do it the same way! 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. I will NOT repeat this move purposefully! 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗗: • Always double-check time zones and start times. • Embrace your mistakes and use them as learning opportunities. 👥 Have you had a similar experience? How did you handle it? This is a long one, but nothing like waking up at 5 am prepping for the first day of school to share my thoughts. To all the working parents out there, especially the supermoms, who just navigated the summer obstacle course…you did it! Let's take a moment to celebrate your “other jobs” accomplishments 😂: - Mastered the art of juggling 101 different summer camps - Embraced "flexible" bedtimes (aka, what's a bedtime?) - Survived the "Mom, I'm bored" marathon - Fed suddenly bottomless pits (aka your kids) - Turned chaos into... slightly more organized chaos - Became vacation planners & entertainment directors extraordinaire - Can’t forget “Mom are you still working or you’re always on a call” even though they don’t realize this is what you normally are doing when they are living their best lives at school so you can pay for these camps $$$ To the moms out there: You're not just the CEO of your home, you're the COO, CFO, and CIO too! 🦸♀️ And somehow, you're still crushing it at work. How do we do it? Is it the coffee? The secret superhero cape hidden in our closet? All I know is I’m freaking amazing and so are you! So here's to you, parents! Pat yourselves on the back (or better yet, book that massage you've been putting off). You've earned it! Remember: through all the mayhem, you're not just surviving – you're thriving. You're showing your kids what resilience, love, and a good sense of humor look like. Also remember, find a company that lets you live out your summer cruise director dreams with your family, nothing like a supportive company and leadership that lets you make this happen, thanks NVIDIA #nvidialife Here's to embracing the beautiful mess and rocking both worlds! 🌟 #WorkingParents #SuperMoms #SummerSurvival P.S. Is it too early to start planning for next summer? (Just kidding... or am I? 😉)
