Entrepreneurial Mindset Day 1 Crafting the Vision Every entrepreneur, as well as ordinary people, should set up some goals in life and have a vision. But what comes first, the vision or the goal? Vision vs. Goal The vision is your long-term destination—where you see yourself in 5 or 10 years. This projection helps you identify the right steps to get to your destination. The right steps equals: Setting Goals How hard is it to set goals? It can be challenging, but using the right framework makes it manageable. The ABC's of setting goals can be summarized with the SMART criteria, which applies to all aspects of life. **SMART Goals:** - **S = Specific:** Clearly define what you want to achieve. - **M = Measurable:** Ensure you can track your progress. - **A = Achievable:** Set realistic goals that are attainable. - **R = Relevant:** Align your goals with your broader objectives. - **T = Time-bound:** Set a deadline to keep you focused. Did you know? Oprah Winfrey's journey from a challenging childhood to becoming a media mogul is a testament to setting SMART goals. When she decided to start her own television network, OWN, she didn't just have a vague idea. She set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals. This strategic approach helped her overcome early struggles and build a successful network that continues to inspire millions. Using the SMART framework ensures your goals are clear and reachable, keeping you on track toward your vision. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post on Resilience and Adaptability!

Every successful entrepreneur shares one thing in common: they build a business and themselves A recent chat with Quinn Che makes me reflect We often think entrepreneurship is about professional success But at its core It’s about 𝘺𝘰𝘶. It's a journey of self-development Because to succeed, you need: 1. Clarity You can’t create meaning without knowing your vision 2. Confidence You can’t follow your heart without believing in it 3. Love for change You can’t thrive without adapting and pivoting 4. Healing your wounds You can’t grow without facing fears and limiting beliefs Because, in the end: “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘣𝘺-𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵.” — Steve Bartlett When you pursue freedom and success, remember they start within. PS. An Open Letter to Aspiring Entrepreneurs Your passion alone won’t build your business. Why? Because passion without action is like having a map without a destination. Meanwhile, Instagram feeds and glossy articles make entrepreneurship look like endless creativity and coffee-shop meetings. Here’s the reality: 1. You’ll spend more time firefighting than dreaming up big ideas. 2. Financial uncertainty will become a constant companion. 3. Success won’t come overnight; it’s the result of months—or years—of invisible effort. 4. Balancing personal relationships with professional demands will feel like walking a tightrope. My advice: 1. Anchor your passion in a clear vision; know where you want to go. 2. Build resilience because setbacks are inevitable. 3. Find mentors and allies who believe in your journey and challenge your blind spots. 4. Prioritize consistency over perfection—show up every day, even when it’s hard. 5. Learn to say no to opportunities that don’t align with your long-term goals. 6. Invest in self-care; burnout helps no one 7. Celebrate small wins; they’ll keep your momentum alive. The entrepreneurial road isn’t easy, but it’s deeply rewarding. So, if you’re standing at the edge of this adventure, take a deep breath and leap. Your story is waiting to be written—one step at a time. #entrepreneurship #business #openletter

Someone recently told me they feared the unknown (her need to know everything is one of the reasons why she is still stuck and not achieving her big goals). I told her the unknown is where the magic happens. You have to embrace it. It’s where you enter the ‘no limits zone.’ It’s where anything and everything is possible. My clients swim in the unknown because they trust THEIR ability to swim, they dont need to know how deep the water is. Successful entrepreneurs know this well. Entrepreneurship isn’t for the weak. It’s a continuous journey of figuring things out. Constantly bettering ourselves. Staying the course, never settling and going beyond what’s possible. I personally just expect things to always work out. And they do. I would rather live in ‘what’s possible’, than live in ‘what’s predictable’. I truly believe we are the masters of our destiny and success. Success is definitely subjective to each of us. But we all know when we are playing it safe or playing full out in what’s possible. It’s time to have our most successful year yet! Here we go! 🔗 If you’re ready to master your emotions and money, sign your dream client, and grow your business, join me on November 12th & 13th for a 2-day masterclass where I show you how start embodying the wealth, power and financial freedom that you desire fully. Did you experience this when starting a business?? 🫣 I thought starting my business would be all about fun ideas, creativity, and excitement—and don’t get me wrong, it is! But you know what I wasn’t prepared for? The fear of putting myself out there.😳 Seriously, the hardest part wasn’t even the late nights or juggling schoolwork and business stuff. It was hitting that “post” button on my first big idea, knowing that people could judge, criticize, or even ignore it completely. And yeah, sometimes that happens. But here’s what I’m learning: ✨You’ll never grow if you don’t take the leap. Even if it feels scary.✨ So, I’ve started embracing the uncomfortable parts, because they’re actually where all the good stuff happens. If I hadn’t taken that first step, I wouldn’t have met so many amazing people who are supporting me along the way! Has anyone else faced this fear of putting yourself out there? Did the fear ever go away, or do you still push through it? I’d love to hear your stories! #chaeyourdreams #doitanyway #businessjourney #entrepreneurship #smallbusimess #womenowned #growthmindset #communitysupport

The Struggles Behind Starting My Business Starting a business is daunting—especially when stepping out on your own without the financial security of that 9-5, and only armed with a dream to create something meaningful. For me, that dream was Homegrown Haven. There were tough moments—times when I doubted myself, wondering, What am I doing? Why am I doing this? The obstacles felt insurmountable, and giving up often seemed like the easiest option. But I didn’t. What kept me going was perseverance, my belief in the vision, and the incredible support from my partner and friends. They reminded me why I started this journey and how what we are creating will help so many people—whether it’s enabling businesses to work more efficiently or empowering individuals to grow their own food. The struggles were real, but so was the growth. I’ve learned that challenges are part of the process, and they often pave the way for the most rewarding moments. If you’re in the trenches of starting something new and it feels overwhelming, know this: the path may be hard, but the purpose behind it makes it worth every step. Keep going. You never know how many lives your idea might touch. What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve faced in pursuing your dream? Let’s inspire one another to keep moving forward! #Entrepreneurship #Perseverance #HomegrownHaven #SmallBusinessJourney

🌟 Every founder begins from nothing, facing lots of problems along the way. But it’s the journey from struggle to success that truly defines them. 💼 From nights with little sleep to getting no money, each challenge shapes their strength and desire. 🚀 Yet, despite the problems, they keep going, driven by their love and belief in their idea. 💪 🌱 Starting a business isn’t easy, but every fall is a step towards growing. 📈 With determination and never giving up, founders turn problems into chances, learning and changing along the way. 🔍 They accept mistakes as a teacher, not a stop sign, and use them to make their plans and aims better. 🎯 🌈 Their stories give hope, encouraging others to follow their dreams, no matter how hard it may seem. 💡 Because in the end, it’s not just about reaching the goal, but the lessons learned and the people helped along the way. 🌟 Keep moving forward, and remember, every great founder started from nothing. 💼 #CedatCenter #Entrepreneurs #Founders #Problems #Solutions #KeepGoing #Inspiration #Motivation

I woke up at 5 a.m. every day this summer to build a business from the ground up. Here are five things I learned: (Sunrise photo for some proof and because waking up early isn't ALL bad.) 1. You have to be a visionary. 2. Believing in yourself, with no days off, is a full-time job. 3. Focus 90% of your energy on projects that can scale. Don’t waste time obsessing over the details or being a perfectionist. 4. Adjust your goals and focus on what you can control. You might get lucky, or you might not—but luck favors those who work hard. 5. Build genuine relationships. Life is too short to work with people you don’t like, and who don’t like you. Relationships are not just the core of business but also life—they will define your happiness. Entrepreneurship can feel lonely, but community makes the journey easier. That’s why I’m committed to posting more of my story, lessons, and insights as I continue to grow- both personally and professionally. 👇 What’s something you’ve learned on your entrepreneurial journey? Let’s connect and grow together. #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth #StartupLife #SelfBelief #RelationshipsMatter #GrowthMindset #Community

Many entrepreneurs eventually realize that their business owns them, rather than the other way around. I’ve seen it countless times, especially during my time as VP for Michael E. Gerber during the 25th anniversary of "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄-𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡". Michael worked with entrepreneurs who were exhausted, overwhelmed, and yearning for a way out—but they couldn’t see a path forward because they were trapped in the daily grind. Michael taught me something invaluable: 🛠️⚙️= 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑷𝑶𝑾𝑬𝑹 𝑶𝑭 𝑺𝑬𝑻𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑼𝑷 𝑺𝒀𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑴𝑺 =⚙️🛠️ Systems that not only keep your business running smoothly but also grant you the freedom to step away without everything falling apart. It’s these systems that turn a business from a BURDEN into a BLESSING. Recently... I had the privilege of attending "Billionaire in Training" taught by Brad Sugars where he shared a truth that brought back all those memories: Brad said: "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦!" This hit me hard because I’ve seen the toll it takes when business owners don’t have that choice. They miss out on life’s moments—family, health, personal dreams—because their business demands every ounce of their energy. But imagine this... A business where you wake up each day and decide, with joy and purpose, whether you’ll be involved that day. Not out of necessity, but out of passion. Imagine having the freedom to choose—to be present for the things that truly matter because you’ve built something that doesn’t rely on your constant presence. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 "S𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 S𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬". Systems that allow you to live your life fully while your business thrives. It’s not just about efficiency; it’s about reclaiming your life, your time, and your choices. Let’s not settle for a business that chains us to it. Let’s build one that liberates us, allowing us to choose how we spend our precious time. Because at the end of the day, the freedom to choose is the greatest success we can achieve. ;-) #Entrepreneurship #BillionaireMindset #BusinessStrategy
