How would you grade the US healthcare system? Seven in 10 Americans give it a grade C or lower. That’s one finding from eHealth’s latest original research, based on a survey of more than 1,000 Americans. Costs and access to coverage a big factors, with half of respondents saying they can’t afford their prescription drugs or get access to the care they need when they need it. We also learned that Americans are open to rethinking the way the healthcare system works, with 66% supporting a ban on drug companies advertising directly to consumers, and a majority willing to rethink key provisions of the Affordable Care Act.
