Acknowledging the contributions of others is a mark of wisdom and confidence. Success is rarely a solo endeavor; it often involves the support, guidance, and collaboration of others. Here's why gratitude is essential in achieving success: 1. Recognition of Support: Gratitude acknowledges the role that others have played in our journey towards success. It recognizes the support, encouragement, and mentorship provided by friends, family, colleagues, and mentors. 2. Fosters Positive Relationships: Expressing gratitude strengthens relationships and fosters a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect. It builds trust and goodwill among individuals and creates a supportive network of allies. 3. Inspires Reciprocity: When we express gratitude for the help we've received, we inspire others to offer assistance in return. People are more likely to lend their support to those who appreciate and acknowledge their efforts. 4. Encourages Collaboration: Gratitude promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork, where individuals are willing to work together towards common goals. It encourages cooperation, communication, and collective problem-solving. Jenalyn Galarce

🙌 No one who achieves success does so without the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude. — Alfred North Whitehead. 🧩Some Key 🗝️ points to pay attention to: ✔️Consider the workplace, where mentors often serve as pivotal figures. They do more than guide; they transform us. They provide counsel, share expertise, and stand by us through challenges, truly shifting the trajectory of our careers. ✔️Then, there are our #coworkers—the everyday collaborators. These are the individuals who share more than just a workspace or a coffee break; they share invaluable insights and their precious time, fostering an environment of mutual growth and support. ✔️In our personal lives, too, success is a chorus 🎶 bolstered by the voices 🗣️ of friends and family. Often, they sideline their own needs to amplify our efforts, providing the encouragement and resources we need to thrive. 🤔So, how do we sustain this vital network? The key is reciprocity—returning the kindness and support we’ve received. Small gestures, like grabbing a coffee together, sending a thoughtful text, or simply spending time with those who matter, strengthen these bonds. ✔️Embrace the ethos of 'paying it forward.' By helping others as we have been helped, we cultivate a cycle of enduring support and goodwill. This isn't just beneficial; it's transformative, creating a #community of continual giving and receiving. ✔️Take a moment to reflect on the individuals who have touched your life and contributed to your successes. Recognize their impact, and don't hesitate to express your #gratitude. A simple message or a heartfelt thanks can go a long way. After all, everyone appreciates being appreciated, isn't it ❓ Write-up: Jenalyn Galarce Video credit: UGmotion

How much of your ‘self-worth’ do you source from your job? 🥙We had this debate at a family dinner, just the other week. ⛏️I come from a working class family where we believe it’s respectable to do a hard days work. It doesn’t matter what that role is. Take pride in it. Do it well. Earn your keep. 😳When people used to say the statement ‘it’s just a job’…. I would nod agreeably. But in my mind, I would be thinking, clearly they don’t love their work like I do. I work hard. 💪🏽The pinch point for me is all in how much.. if our only gauge of our worthiness is work… it’s too much. If we are clock watching to leave…. it’s too much. ⏰ #selfworth #jobsatisfaction #worklifebalance #selfemployed #womenwholead #femaleleaders #businessdevelopment #digitaltransformation #changemanagement Beetroot Consulting Ltd

🌟 **Asking for Help When Needed** 🌟 I used to feel that asking for help made me look weak or unskilled. I thought it would make others think I couldn’t do my job well. But, I have felt the stress of trying to solve everything by myself. This often made me feel burned out and frustrated. I found that asking for help is actually a good thing. It helps me learn faster, solve problems more easily, and build better relationships with my coworkers. Getting help brings new ideas and insights I might not have thought of on my own. So, don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. It helps you grow and creates a better, more supportive workplace. 🚀 #Teamwork #Growth #Support #Learning #Workplace _________________________________________ Take the first step towards a more fulfilling life. Good work is meaningful work. In having the conversation about good work, it's easy to start with the "what of work". But for work to be good, it is important to remember the "why", identify the "what," and not forget to address the "how" of work. Ethical work (*paid and unpaid) moves us to meaningful work by addressing work holistically. Meaningful work is a robust and dynamic pursuit. #businessethics #meaningfulwork #businessforthecommongood #plantedliving
