This Equal Pay Day, DEO joined First Partner @jennifersiebelnewsom and @latradetechcollege (LATTC) for a roundtable discussion focused on advancing women in the trades. At DEO, we are actively working to build inclusive, industry-informed pathways into high quality careers — ensuring that women and other underrepresented workers can access good-paying jobs that drive LA County’s economy. This past year DEO supported 42 women in our High Road Training Partnerships in construction and aerospace, two industries where we are making strides, but women have long been underrepresented.
