That’s where top fix guardrails come in. ✔ Provide collective protection ✔ Ideal for metal roofing, including standing seam ✔ Modular design so that can cope with different layouts, sizes and pitches ✔ Long lasting solution You can read more about why top fix guardrails are ideal for metal and industrial roofs in our blog. Flooring installation often occurs prematurely when the site is not adequately prepared. Ensuring proper acclimation of materials and optimal site conditions is essential for achieving a high-quality installation. Our objective is to deliver a durable floor that meets the satisfaction of the end user for many years. Professional Diversified Flooring, Inc. #integrity #relationships #teamwork #partnerships #flooring #highquality
The race to deadline can lead to bad choices. Before delivering any flooring and related materials to site the building must be at lock up stage and sealed from the outside elements in a way that allows stable conditions to be maintained before, during and after installation. Specifically, temperature (20c / 68f) and relative humidity 35% to 55%). Failure to do so leads to typical floor covering complaints such as shrinkage, expansion, adhesive failure, costly repairs, and no warranty. Plastic tarps used to temporarily replace uninstalled windows and external doors for example do not create such conditions. NFCA Floor Covering Reference Manual states: Install flooring materials only after all other trade work, especially gypsum board and painting, has been completed and all overhead mechanical and lighting work, and other wall-mounted equipment has been installed. DO NOT proceed with installation until all unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. Notify the General Contractor in writing of all defects likely to impair finished work. Start of work implies acceptance of surfaces and conditions. #construction #flooring #installation #restoration #preparation #resilient #vinyl #realestate

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A METAL ROOF? If you live in Los Angeles County or Ventura County your 2,000-square-foot metal roofing job is typically completed within 3-5 business days. Three simultaneous teams expedite this process: a roof removal crew, metal roofing installers, and supervisors overseeing timetables, quality, and safety. Complete Removal of Existing Roof The existing roof, whether asphalt shingles or tiles, is removed in one to two days. The removal team not only dismantles the old roof but also manages the disposal and recycling. Addressing Structural Issues If structural issues are discovered post-removal, our team addresses these at the root rather than applying temporary fixes. This could potentially extend the project duration and incur additional costs. Installation of Metal Roofing While one part of the team removes the old roof, another prepares and installs the metal sections efficiently, akin to an assembly line process. Need a new metal roof? Contact us today for a FREE estimate. (818) 938-6702 https://bit.ly/3sV7kEC #HomeImprovement #Roofing #MetalRoofing #AsphaltShingles

Trafalgar’s BladeRUNNER fire collar is an innovative solution for providing an FRL for plastic floor waste and stack pipes passing through concrete floor slabs, recently winning a 2024 Good Design Australia Award🔥 Floor waste pipes pose a greater challenge for firestopping materials compared to regular stack pipes as the opening above the slab is an easy passage for flames to spread through in a fire event. Thanks to its slimline design, the BladeRUNNER is able to treat the penetration without the need to install a complex bulkhead system. ✅ BladeRUNNER’s unique design allows it to physically crush the softening pipe & quickly sealing the the opening by using a spring-loaded blade system. Once the pipe has been crushed, the inbuilt intumescent expands to keep the penetration sealed and cool for hours. In the below test, a 50mm floor waste PVC pipe with an elbow fitting inside the opening and achieved a -/240/240 FRL! - so called 4 hour fire rating.
