Reflections on an Inspiring DuPage 2025 County-Wide Institute Day! Regional Superintendent, Amber Quirk, would like to offer A BIG Thanks to all educators who attended the DuPage County-Wide Institute Day. On February 28, 2025, the DuPage Regional Office of Education hosted our County-Wide Institute Day, offering 60 diverse learning opportunities for DuPage educators! This event provided an incredible space for professional growth, collaboration, and innovative learning. We were fortunate to have several outstanding presenters sharing their expertise. Stacie Chana led a session on A.C.E. Instructional Leadership in the Age of AI: Advancing Observations, Evaluations, and Feedback, offering insights into instructional leadership in the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. Jared Sliger engaged educators with Building Thinking Classrooms, focusing on strategies to foster student-centered learning. Sasha Long provided practical strategies with Practical Behavior Approach, while Christopher Kerney addressed the critical issue of attendance in School Attendance and Its Problems: A Multi-Tier Approach. Dominic Frisina explored the power of relationships in Building Positive School Cultures Through Character and Relationships, and Katie Kinsella shared research-based strategies in Proven Practices to Support English Learners in Building Language and Literacy Skills for School Success. In addition to these impactful sessions, we partnered with Grand Canyon University, Britannica, and Franklin Covey to bring even more valuable learning opportunities to our educators. Sessions like Culture of Belonging, Culturally Responsive Teaching in the Elementary Classroom, Leading With Equity, Time Management Strategies for the Overwhelmed School Counselor, and Developing Student Mindsets and Behaviors to Improve Success provided educators with practical strategies to enhance their schools and classrooms. A special thank you to the 45 presenters who submitted a Call for Proposal and presented on behalf of DuPage ROE. Your dedication and expertise made this event possible, and we appreciate your commitment to supporting the professional growth of educators across the county. Thank you to all the educators who participated and made this day a success. Your commitment to professional learning and student success is truly inspiring. #DuPageCWID #DuPageROE19 #EducationMatters
